About Me
As a boy I grew up in England, first in the county of West Yorkshire, then in my teens, a seaside town on the east coast of Kent. It was here I studied Art & Design which finally lead to my first paid employment as a graphic artist.
At that time it was the early years of Desktop Publishing and the technologies around were addictive. This attraction drove me to my second career, IT management and software architecture.
I now live on Cape Breton Island, Canada and work in Silicon Valley, California. The theme of my life is innovating within boundaries. Whether it's paint, wood or code I enjoy solving the problem of creation when it's confined by artificial limits.
What started it all?
I found myself asking the big question. What's my legacy? What am I going to leave behind that can make a difference in the world? Honestly, I have no idea, and I don't think many people do. What I do know is that I was always happy when making art. So here I am again, making art.
